Are the chemicals that control insects similarly, the chemicals used to control mites are called as Acaricides or Miticides. Insects like caterpillars , aphids and mites can significantly reduce crop yields and quality through their feeding. Insects causes damage to the crops by sucking , feeding leaves, flower,fruits, root and stem which will reduced crop yield. In order to control different types of insects pests the recommended insecticidesand dose by the Agriculture University based on the types of insects and the nature of damage should be adopted.
